Of course a White Gloss kitchen will never go out of fashion and is ideal for resell appeal, but what if you are now in your forever home? It’s time to choose a kitchen colour that really suits your personality and style.

A hand painted kitchen is unique and delivers a quality of finish second to none. Choose a warm tone to create a cosy, homely feel to your room or go dramatic and dark for a bold statement.

Here are some of our favourite options:

Blue

Dramatic and sultry or bright and contemporary. Using Blue on your kitchen cabinetry is a bold move but by including the colour on just the kitchen island for example it can become a feature accent contrasted with lighter units and create just the right style statement.

Grey

A mid-toned grey is bang on trend this season but it is also a colour with plenty of longevity. It makes a statement without being too overpowering. With so many homes now being open-plan a Grey colour scheme can easily be integrated into the rest of the home to give a cohesive style.

Pastels

Neutral pastels such as Pale Green, Pale Blue or tinted Whites are a new alternative to Brilliant White in the kitchen. A soft muted colour palette works with any worktop choice and is great for a dark space or a room with lots of natural light.

Cream

Classic and neutral, cream and white still has its place. The hand painted effect gives a seamless finish with a lovely depth and texture that is simply not achievable with spray painting. Perhaps you are looking to upgrade existing wooden cabinetry to lighten your room, we definitely recommend hand painting for an inexpensive way to brighten and update your kitchen.
